How does this affect cats?: A group of them is called something that sounds like chowder, a type of seafood that a cat would probably enjoy.

Why is this fact interesting?: They’re called that because ailouros means cat in Greek and phile means love

How does this affect cats?: A name for people who love them sounds kinda wierd

How cats use them: Cats open their mouths and draw in air.

Why is this fact interesting?: People think that cats only smell through their noses but they are wrong.

How does this affect cats?: The scent glands help them take a deep sniff of the odor.

How: A cats whiskers are as long as the cat’s body is wide so, by stickingĀ it’s head into an opening, a cat can tell if it’s too wide to fit in a space.
